A-Z again
In this chapter, Ella takes on the job of finding a sentence with all the words of the alphabet, with less than 35 letters. This is because she wants to prove that Nevon Nollop is not the only one who can come up with such a wonderful sentence. Ella succeeds in doing so, and the island goes back to normal.
Chapter analysis
In this chapter, Ella feels a lot of pressure. She has made an agreement with the High Council asking for permission to come up with a new sentence, which is more impressive than Neven Nollop’s. She must create a sentence using all the letters in the alphabet with less than 35 letters. Ella finds many solutions but in the end her, perfect, sentence was inspired by her father. Her father had said the sentence earlier on, and now she has remembered it. Once Ella announces her sentence, the island goes back to the way it was before the letters fell. The sentence came us with is, “ Pack my box with five dozen liquor jugs?” Pg. 198 This sentence helped the whole island people, by giving their freedom back.
